Adding insult to injury, General Motors plans to start selling import Chinese made GM cars to American shoppers. So by 2011 that Cadillac may have been built in Shanghai. </p>

<p>Yes that&#8217;s correct &#8211; GM may begin importing Chinese-made cars in 2011, and apparently plans to increase the number of cars it imports for sale on US soil. GM’s China manufacturing plants now build cars sold in Asia. Though Americans may not recognize the models, GM is the best-selling foreign manufacturer in China.</p>
